Help Us Grow Our New Spanish Immersion Art Program!

At Crafternoon ATX, we believe creativity is more than making art—it’s a way for children to understand themselves, connect with others, and grow with confidence. As a nature-focused art studio serving young artists ages 5–12, we’ve always been committed to nurturing imagination, community, and essential life skills through hands-on play and creative exploration.

Now, we’re ready to plant something new and meaningful in our studio:
an after-school Spanish Immersion Art Program—and we need your help to make it bloom.

Why This Program Matters

In our studio, we see firsthand how language and creativity help children thrive. We want to create a space where Spanish language and culture are not just taught, but lived—through story, movement, cooking, music, and of course, art.

There are very few Spanish-focused creative environments available to kids outside of school. We want to change that.
Our vision is a space where:

  • Native Spanish speakers feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

  • Dual-language learners can practice in a warm, immersive environment.

  • All children experience the joy of creating and learning in a second language.

Our teachers come from diverse backgrounds and bring rich cultural knowledge to every lesson. Through this program, we hope to uplift language, honor heritage, and spark curiosity in every child who walks through our door.

What Your Donation Supports

To launch this program, we are raising funds that will help us provide:

  • Bilingual teacher resources
  • New Spanish-language books for our classroom
  • Paid planning time for thoughtful, culturally grounded lessons
  • Art supplies, cooking materials, and hands-on activity tools

Every dollar directly builds this program—and we’ll honor your gift by sharing how it’s used on our social media along the way. You’ll get to watch the program take shape right alongside us.

What Our Students Will Experience

With your support, our after-school learners will enjoy activities like:

  • Visual art projects inspired by Spanish-speaking cultures

  • Cooking and baking lessons

  • Music and movement

  • Basic life skills and hands-on learning

  • Nature-based creative projects

All taught entirely in Spanish, with room for every level of speaker. We believe immersion is the best way to learn, and our small community-centered environment makes it feel natural and fun.

Help Us Build Something Beautiful

By contributing to this fundraiser, you’re helping us open doors—to language, culture, community, and creativity. You’re helping create a space where children can learn, thrive, and express themselves fully.

Thank you for believing in our mission, for supporting bilingual education, and for helping us plant the seeds of a program that will grow for years to come.

💛 Every donation, big or small, helps us bring this vision to life.

Testimonials

"I am mostly blown away by the effort put into the teaching and the intentional time taken to explain things to each child. The EXCITEMENT for literally every single project, whether it's a tiny fairy house made of sticks, a clay dragon eye or a magical potion filled with crystals. Camille and their team treat each creation like a true masterpiece. Crafternoon has always been an anomaly. After we attended our first class at Crafternoon... we told all of our friends! Crafternoon has thus become a community spot of sorts. There's always going to be a familiar face at drop off or pick up. At our elementary school before a randomly scheduled day off school, us parents depart with, "See you at Crafternoon tomorrow!" A major draw is that somehow there's usually a spot available. So whether we've just hung out with a friend or if we're coming off a sleepover, we can suggest they join us, even with short notice. As a parent that loses sleep over those stressful, cut-throat camp sign ups this is so so appreciated. It's casual, welcoming and I always know that whomever I recommend to Crafternoon, Camille is going to embrace them as though they're a regular! I also have noticed a very-welcomed inclusivity arise within my boys. The fact that every person is welcome, regardless of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, etc. In this world of divisiveness, Crafternoon truly is a haven. Camille and their team are doing amazing things in that space... not all related to art!"

"I have had the pleasure of working with our neighbors at Crafternoon ATX as the Creative Learning Initiative Lead at Ridgetop Elementary. We have successfully partnered on multiple arts experiences during the '23-'24 school year. Working with Crafternoon has been a dream.  I consistently receive very positive feedback from both students and teachers who attend programming at Crafternoon.  Having worked with multiple arts partners in the community, Crafternoon stands out as delivering a high quality program that engages all learners.  This is a wonderful introduction to the arts for our youngest learners.   Teachers benefit from seeing examples of ways to integrate the arts into their curriculum and provide another way for our diverse learners to connect with classroom learning. We're so fortunate to have this wonderful arts partnership in the Ridgetop community."

"I wholeheartedly endorse the Crafternoon program and its incredible team. I have been a satisfied parent for the past three years and have witnessed firsthand the positive impact Crafternoon has had on my children. Camille and her team have created an exceptional after-school and camp program that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and a strong sense of community. My children have not only developed their artistic abilities but have also grown into confident, empathetic, and resilient individuals. Crafternoon has been a valuable asset to the Ridgetop community, building strong relationships with both the school and parents. Camille and her team are truly remarkable individuals who create a nurturing and inspiring environment for children. "
