This is Rita's story, in her own words:
"I would like to change the belief that girls and women can't thrive in the world of science and technology. People in my society believe that only men can be programmers and engineers. They believe the only job an educated girl can do is teaching. I would like to prove to them wrong by becoming an engineer myself.
I want to become a role model in my community. I will hold conferences to enlighten people in my society on technology and how vital it is in today's world. I will mentor and support other girls so they may achieve their dreams, get good jobs and raise their families' standards of living. "
