You Can Help North Shore Families In Need

Harvest Project is a community-based urban relief organization and registered Canadian charity. They usually connect with more than 1000 people each month via one-to-one client-care coaching, emergency drop-in visits, appointments within their grocery and clothing support programs, retail thrift shoppers, plus volunteers and donors from every corner of the North Shore.

Harvest Project serves Metro-Vancouver’s North Shore,  extending a hand up  to those in need. They provide assistance to vulnerable residents from Deep Cove in the east to Horseshoe Bay in the west. We want to help them achieve their vision, to be a compassionate presence for North Shore residents, by North Shore residents - working to help the North Shore become the most inclusive, healthy and diverse community in Canada.

COVID-19 Impact As you can imagine, COVID-19 has prevented Harvest from carrying out a large portion of their work, so we have come up with new ways to get vital groceries into the hands of vulnerable families! We can only provide these services with your support, and during this uncertain time, we need your help more than ever. Please help us purchase and share grocery gift cards and help hundreds of individuals and families in our community.

At this time, Harvest are not receiving grocery or clothing donations. Instead, we are asking for donations so we can continue to provide our community members with grocery vouchers to help subsidize their food costs and ensure they don't go hungry.

We have partnered with Harvest to provide subsidized vouchers that we can share with families who are struggling and unable to purchase groceries. These vouchers will enable families to order food online and have it delivered to their homes. This is the safest way to get food to them as it avoids single parents needing to find childcare just to navigate the lines and pandemic controls at the supermarkets.

Please grant our wish and help us acquire one or more of the gift cards shown below. We'll distribute the cards to families in need on the North Shore and help stretch their food budgets a little further in these difficult times.

Or, simply make a donation and we'll apply your funds to families with the biggest needs. Harvest Project will mail receipts for a donation of $20 or more to the physical address that you shared during the checkout process.
