Say hello to little Honey. When NYACC called and said they had a potential IVDD case we knew we had to move quickly. When this little lady arrived, we knew we had done the right thing. Massively obese, poor Honey showed signed of disc issues in both her neck and the center of her spine. She shrieked in pain as we moved her to a crate for safety. She has come to DRBC in crisis and luckily, we know just what to do. She has lost her ability to urinate, to walk and worst of all, she lost deep pain sensation…there is only one solution…the Neuro Team at Red Bank Tinton Falls! We cannot not get her there fast enough.
As you know, we don’t do many spinal surgeries [hemilaminectomies]. We have a medical protocol that’s thanks to the folks at RBVH that usually gets us through these issues, but in Honey’s case we are worried, and we need your support to help her regain a normal way of life…actually to live.
