The Background
Hey Gang, we all live in the world and if you have been watching on social media and the news you know the economy has made things difficult all around. One of the hardest hit areas is non-profits supporting animal rescue. Just last week we watched as three [3] rescues in our region closed their doors for good. Let's face facts, it is a difficult task to do what we do and an expensive one as well. DRBC does not want to be in that group.
You may never have thought about what it costs to run this rescue as we usually only ask for help with dogs that need emergent medical care, but what about the rest? Our monthly budget to support all in our care ranges from $10-12K per month. Staggering, right? Now those numbers are climbing and we desperately need your support.

Where the Funds Go
This is an across the board effort for us. Funds will go towards veterinary care, medications, food, laboratory support and much, much more. Since our founding 42+ years ago we have tried to internalize expenses while providing the best in care to the forgotten and abandoned. Today, please help us continue that effort.
