Help Us Give Coal a New Beginning

Imagine existing on the unforgiving streets of Kabul — injured, in pain, struggling to survive, and devoid of hope. This was the stark reality for a young little black cat. The cause of his injury remains a mystery; what is clear is that a significant amount of time had passed since it occurred. Yet, change arrived when a compassionate local Afghan found him and brought him to the Nowzad clinic. After an initial examination and a set of X-rays, our veterinary team faced a tough decision: to amputate his damaged leg, allowing him to finally live without tearing pain.

As a tripaw, life on the streets would be perilous and painful for him. Affectionately named Coal, he joined the other residents in our cat room, where he patiently awaited someone to offer him a chance at a new home. And then, the miracle happened.

This calm, gentle, and friendly little kitty now has a loving family eagerly waiting to welcome him. He will have a cozy, warm bed, a delightful garden filled with adventure, and a family to call his own at last. Coal adores people, gets along well with other cats, and even enjoys the visits from the dogs who occasionally drop by the cat room. His favorite spot is the sun-kissed window sill, where he stretches out and basks in warm rays. Always ready for a cuddle, he revels in being held and feeling secure. His new family is thrilled to welcome him, and at last, this darling little cat has the opportunity for the safe and loving future he truly deserves after such a challenging start in life.

However, the costs of transporting him to his new home are substantial, and we need your support to cover these expenses.
