The Hustle House isn’t a physical house; it’s a hands-on, community-powered program created by the Bambi Fund to help people returning home from incarceration turn their skills, drive, and hustle into real, thriving small businesses.

Meet the First 5 Hustle House Entrepreneurs

Thanks to donor support, five individuals in our first cohort launched or expanded real businesses, including:

• A lawn care company that now services full neighborhoods
  
• A catering business providing meals for community events and school lunches
  
• A pool maintenance service that has signed several commercial contracts
  
• A full service family landscaping business with goals to get their ROC thanks to upgraded equipment
  
• A community barbershop offering education to barbers coming out of prison, and free haircuts to folks facing houselessness
  

Each entrepreneur has a story like Michael’s – someone who returned home determined to work, build, give back, and create stability for their family. Your partnership helped make their success possible. And now, you can help the next group of entrepreneurs achieve the same.

What’s Next: 2025 & 2026

2025: With your support, we have welcomed a new cohort of four justice-involved entrepreneurs into the Hustle House from Pima and Maricopa counties. This is an expansion of our current programming and a chance to reach even more people ready to rebuild with dignity and purpose. This year we’re working with ambitious owners of a start-up car detailing business, a Oaxacan food business, an irrigation and landscaping company, and a house painting and epoxy coating company.

2026: We’ll be continuing our cohort program and recruiting new program participants in Cochise County and other Southern Arizona counties, while expanding our public event offerings to support all communities impacted by incarceration and detention with access to essential community resources and education.
