The Bambi Fund's mission is to provide funded opportunities for learning, growing, and exploration. We support current and budding projects, social enterprises, and nonprofit groups led by people from historically excluded communities. We believe that social change should blossom from the communities that are directly impacted by oppression and injustice. We create space for people and groups that have been historically excluded from decision-making to experiment with new ideas and approaches.

The Hustle House Entrepreneurship Program

The Hustle House is an innovative entrepreneurial cooperative dedicated to supporting owner-operated businesses established by Arizona's formerly incarcerated individuals. By leveraging entrepreneurship as a transitional strategy, this program specifically aids those re-entering society in Maricopa County. It seeks to foster economic, human, and social development, aiming to reduce recidivism, encourage self-determination, and promote prosperity among people impacted by incarceration and their communities.

Mental Health & Healing

Our Mental Health & Healing workshops target queer and transgender people of color (QTBIPOC) in the Phoenix metro area, aiming to fill a critical gap in accessible mental health care and support. This groundbreaking program hosts free workshops, each facilitated by experts in fields such as somatic healing, trauma processing, and harm reduction, designed to cater specifically to the needs of the QTBIPOC community.

Community Project Incubator

Our project incubator aims to provide guidance and support to individuals from historically excluded communities who are ready to start their own community-based project, social enterprise, or non-profit organization. The Bambi Fund provides support with initial project messaging, vision and mission development, fundraising strategy, branding, and works with individuals to develop a strong online presence - vital to ensuring success in fundraising and base recruitment.

Arizona Courts Project

The Arizona Courts Project (AZCP) is a pioneering program with a mission to address and transform the criminal legal system for underserved and directly impacted communities within Arizona. AZCP engages in a grassroots effort to initiate a multigenerational movement, focusing on education, cross-movement training, and the creation of non-punitive alternatives.
