John J Byrne Community Center provides recreational, after-school , and community development programs in one physical infrastructure to help promote youth and community well-being.

Our primary goal is to maintain an enriching, nurturing environment for intergenerational, multicultural, multiservice activities that helps youth organizations implement youth programs. Second, to improve awareness and help solve community health, wellness, and workforce disparities, financial and retirement literacy by collaborating with the business community and civic-action groups. Among the programs we support are:

• After-School Music and Video Production, and Deejaying Activities
• Health Wellness, and Workforce Initiatives
• Youth and Adult Events
• Sports, Games, and Recreation Activities
• Community Development and Outreach
• Advocacy and Awareness Activities

We achieve our goals by partnering with organizations and businesses to explore and apply their expertise that can benefit the common good.

In order to serve our target audience, it is necessary to continue to seek help from volunteers and donors who provide the financial fuel to manage our physical infrastructure, maintain and develop our programs.

Our 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit status makes all donations tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. Combined with our ability to use the support of volunteers to ensure that the funds we receive go to our core missions, this makes our organization a perfect fit for financial support.
