Our mission is to promote independent filmmakers and the stories they
tell to increase communication and understanding between humanity.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, moving images speak
volumes to who we are, where we have been and what's going on in our
community and the world around. Moving images go where words cannot.
With a basic smart phone and a wireless connection, stories are
being told through moving images like never before. The various
on-line platforms attract "Friends" and
"Followers" far and wide.
Still, with all these tools on-line and improvements in video camera's, sound equipment, etc, too many young people are not being trained to express themselves, by making their own film, and/or are not acquiring the expertise to enter the various careers connected to the film industry.
Over the years, In our pursuit of our mission, we have facilitated
the role of connecting the dots between up and coming filmmakers,
local schools and the film industry, by hosting screenings,
workshops/panels at schools, theaters and other local venues.
