Founded in 2009, by Susan Mackasey, PetitsPawz is a grassroots Montreal-area rescue dedicated to helping vulnerable cats, kittens, and animals in need.

We work to rescue, foster, care for, and rehome abandoned, neglected, injured, and at-risk animals while providing essential veterinary care, food, shelter, and support.

While our primary focus has always been cats and kittens, over the years we have also expanded to help dogs in emergency situations when urgent care and intervention are needed.

What began as helping a few cats has grown into an ongoing community-driven rescue effort fueled by compassion, volunteers, fosters, and supporters who believe every animal deserves safety and a second chance.

Through fundraisers, community support, and rescue partnerships, PetitsPawz continues working to give animals the care and protection they deserve. 🐾
