We're the only NASCAR team racing to combat Veteran suicide. Join the team!19-year-old NASCAR driver Colin Garrett and 26-year-old team owner Sam Hunt, the youngest owner/driver duo in NASCAR, are running a pro bono campaign to promote free services that help combat Veteran suicide:
100% of Racing For Heroes' funding goes to programs. Colin began promoting them for free in January 2019 to spread awareness of their services without taking funds from programs. In November he added The Rosie Network to the National Awareness Campaign. Replacing corporate sponsors on the car...Every race we can run to promote these services means potentially reaching a Veteran whose life is at risk. Promoting the nonprofits on the car takes space that would normally go to a paying corporate sponsor, though. We're crowdfunding to replace that money so Colin can continue to promote them for free.
Racing is expensive - just the tires for a race cost almost $20,000. But we don't need huge contributions! We just need a lot of people who will give a small amount each. We topped our goal to pay for the Daytona race in February, and were even able to pay for stem cell treatments for a Veteran, all thanks to our supporters. Join the team today to help us help more Veterans! Anyone who gives $100 will get a personalized shoutout video from Colin Garrett, and we have more cool perks coming soon. The military is personal to us. It's not a marketing gimmick. Both of Colin’s brothers are Active Duty Army and one is currently deployed to Korea. The marketing strategist behind the National Awareness Campaign is a military spouse whose combat veteran husband retired with 26 years of service.
During 2019, Colin's family footed the entire bill to promote Racing For Heroes through his racing. The marketing strategist provides all of her services to them for free. We've made a long term commitment to them, and this crowdfunding campaign will help us make the largest impact possible. If your business is veteran- or military spouse-owned, you can become a Veteran Business Advocate to join the marketing campaign. |
