Navigate news. Find facts.

News Literacy for Arizona teaches news literacy through a one-time workshop that's hosted at schools, libraries and community centers.

The workshop is 50 minutes, free, and nonpartisan. It's designed for attendees age 13 and older and teaches how to parse fact from fiction.
Our five-point training focuses on:

  1. The importance of news literacy

  2. The danger of disinformation

  3. The power of algorithms on the information we consume

  4. The difference between journalism and propaganda

  5. How to build a diverse news diet
