From Neurons to Nirvana explores the possibilities of the psychedelic experience through a combination of historical record and interviews with researchers in the field of psychedelics, notable examples including Dr. Ralph Metzner & ethnopharmacologist Dennis McKenna (brother of the famous shamanic philosopher Terence McKenna).
