These informational signs will inform visitors at all of our preserves about parking, accessing trails, and other pertinent information allowing all to enjoy the trails with the confidence of knowing where they are!

These donations will fund several parking area improvements at Moonbeams Preserve. These projects will provide greater parking capacity, improve drainage, and reduce erosion.

These donations will fund the maintenance and management of our open meadows and early successional habitats at Moonbeams, Hamptonburgh, and Hunter Farm Preserves for the benefit of ground nesting birds, pollinators, and other species of wildlife that depend on them. Part of this project will also focus on the removal of invasive plant species from these areas.

These donations will fund the purchase and installation of a new visitor kiosk at Hamptonburgh Preserve in Campbell Hall, NY. The kiosk will provide visitors with information about the history of the preserve, as well as trail information, maps, and other engaging content. This donation will fund the purchase of new trail markers at our Birnberg Preserve. This 187-acre Preserve located along the Heritage Trail in the Towns of Chester and Blooming Grove is home to a variety of amphibians and bird species. There are two nature trails: a 3/4-mile looped trail through woodlands and a mowed 1-mile looped trail providing views of Goosepond Mountain and the Young’s Brook wetlands.

This donation will fund the purchase of new trail markers at our 255-acre Fuller Mountain Preserve in Warwick, NY. These woods are home to many mammals, including the long-tailed weasel and black bear, several rare plants, and an abundance of bird life. This preserve has three trails: a moderate 1.75 mile round trip trail and 1.5 mile round trip trail that both lead to a fantastic vista overlooking the Warwick Valley and an enchanting ¾ mile loop that meanders along and over Fuller’s Brook.
