Ian Kuali’i - Untitled, Rochester - $200 - Created in an edition of 5, this unique piece features a laser-cut of 2017 muralist Ian Kuali’is intricate artwork for his Rochester, NY mural overlaid atop our co-curator’s scouting photo of the unpainted, unprepared wall to create a unique “before and after” composition. Each lasercut piece is signed and numbered on the back by the artist (although it won’t be viewable unless you take the piece out of the frame). These pieces were created specifically for this fundraiser during Ian’s participation at the first-ever National Endowment for the Arts Residency at IAIA (Institute for American Indian Arts) earlier this year. The photo shown is a Work In Progress shot as we finalize the photo print (adjusting the white margin and the background coloring). The laser-etching is 7.25” tall by 15.9375” and the photographic print is 14”x20”. These 5 pieces will come framed. (5 Available)
