Kandy's Soldier Savior says:
Kandy found her way to us (Air Force Security Forces) at one
of our posts where she was named almost instantly.
Though
there were a few disputes on what she should be called, I felt Kandy
was most fitting based on her sweet and loving personality.
After about a week, we figured she was there to stay but we
knew she needed medical treatment and deserved a better life.
While making arrangements with Nowzad, we continued to give
her constant love and even noticed her start to wag her tail when we
walked up to her, which is something she didn’t do at first.
She is a lover of all foods unhealthy, trust me when I say we
tried to get her to eat her vegetables but she was completely
uninterested.
We discovered that she does, in fact, love to
play but only after after a good days sleep. Kandy will continue to
be loved and spoiled in Wisconsin where she’ll make lots of friends
and always have a warm and cozy place to sleep.

successful (such as disease or injury) then at the discretion of
Nowzad Dogs, the funds collected via this Fundrazr page will be
allocated to support the vital daily operational costs of the Nowzad
Dogs small animal clinic and shelter in Kabul
The total required for a companion animal to travel to North
America is usually a minimum of $5000 for a dog and at least $3000
for a cat (we make no profit and everything is subject to currency
valuations and fuel prices on the day). We are sadly unable to offer
refunds on donations.
