Autumn is upon as and soon we will be cheering on a new year, which is why we come, during our birthday month, to help us raise $18,000 and make sure we finish 2024 strong.
With your help this fall and winter we will...
I. Award 25 Scholarships and Internships and Employ Over 40 People
Scholarships and internships allow students ages 8-80 to study improvisation, sketch writing, and standup comedy for low or no cost. We aim to create a lower bar for entry into the comedy world while giving teaching and performing artists and administrators paid opportunities for their creative work.
II. Champion and Ensure a Safe Space in the Heart of Texas
ColdTowne Theater is a space where BIPOC, women, and LGBTQ+ comedians, artists, and fans of all shapes, sizes, abilities, and genders can learn, experiment, and engage with inclusive comedy and performance art.
III. Present 180+ shows that Include the Special Guests...
