Lacey's Story

When this adorable little girl joined DRBC we all thought her stay would be a short one…then we ran our usual battery of lab tests and were shocked to see a positive heartworm result.  Talk about blown away…this is Lacey’s story.  This little girl has had the roughest of starts and now this.  We all know that his horrible disease could have ended her life in short order, but Lacey is one of the lucky ones.  Today we are here to battle for her future and hope you will join us in turning things around for this special little girl.

Our Mission for Lacey

Fortunately for Lacey, there are great Cardiologists at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital.  Together they have created a plan to save Lacey’s life and continue to make every day a great one for her, but you must know that the costs are adding up and today, we are turning to the DRBC Gang to help.  Sometimes love just won’t do it and today Lacey needs your financial support.

So what does all this entail?  Advanced lab testing, cardiology support and hospitalization all add up to all almost $3,500 bill.  Nothing is free to the rescue. Without support from kindhearted people like you Lacey will never survive, never mind have a quality or live a pain free life.  Please consider her and make a difference today.

An Important Reminder

Lacey and all of us here at DRBC want everyone to remember the importance of using heartworm medication.  Living in the DRBC Region [NY, NJ, PA, DE and MD] means year round use of protection.  'My doxie rarely goes outside' is a recipe for disaster as infected mosquitoes are more than happy to come in and bite your pupper without your knowledge.  Please, please talk to your veterinarian about the importance of prevention.  Thanks Gang.
