Our American Dream Team hasn't added a story.
Why be just a fan when you can be part of the only NASCAR team racing to combat veteran suicide?
Help us make it to Talladega Superspeedway for the April 24 race!
Bucket list alert 🏁‼️ You can even get your logo on the car for as little as 3.5k😎 Other rewards include the Disrupt Your Now virtual conference and a virtual Backers Gala.
20-year-old NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Colin Garrett's campaign promotes free services from nonprofits Racing For Heroes and The Rosie Network, and helps raise funds for their programs.
You can literally help save a life!
Last year his “Our American Dream Team” Daytona crowdfunder raised enough to race AND paid for stem cell treatments for a veteran with MS. Within several months the MRI showed no new lesions, many were smaller in size, and some were totally gone!
We're replacing corporate sponsors on the car...
Promoting the nonprofits takes space that would normally go to paying corporate sponsors. By crowdfunding to replace that money, Colin can continue to promote them for free.
Racing is expensive - just the tires for one race cost almost $20,000. But if a guy can raise $55,492 to make potato salad, surely WE can do THIS to help save lives!
Colin promotes free services like:
- physical & mental health treatment for issues like traumatic brain injury (TBI), PTSD, and opioid addiction recovery. Treatments like stem cell, infrared light therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and counseling.
- job training & placement,
- motorsports therapy to help alleviate PTSD and promote community, and
- entrepreneur training and mentorship to help military families control their future
NASCAR is the place to reach veterans who need help, or friends and family who can refer them.
25% of active duty are NASCAR fans & 18% of NASCAR fans are veterans. And that's not counting their family and friends. We can reach those who are at risk where they're already at, places the nonprofits would never be able to afford to be.
"This is a force multiplier! Every $10 given to the crowdfunder is like giving $100 to the nonprofit because of the national exposure we get." - Mike Evock, founder of Racing For Heroes, retired Green Beret.
On top of promoting them on the national stage for free, a portion of all money raised is given to the nonprofits.
This is personal to us.
Both of Colin's brothers are active duty. The marketing strategist behind the National Awareness Campaign is a military spouse whose husband is a Vietnam veteran and retired with 26 years of service.
Please back our campaign and share it with your friends!
We’ve been told it’s a crazy idea and will never happen, but you can help us prove them wrong.
We were told we wouldn't be able to raise the money for Daytona, either, and we did that and more! We've proven everyone wrong until now, and plan to keep doing it.
With your help we can keep on helping to save lives!
Thank you for supporting Colin Garrett's Our American Dream Team and helping save the lives of those who have already given so much.
