Impact Kenya-PACE helps vulnerable children from across Kenya and Africa receive quality education and also trains pastors to serve everyone in their communities better.

WHAT WE DO

Impact Kenya-PACE serves the community through PACE Schools, pastoral training, food and healthcare, and a Leadership Summit.

PACE Schools offer affordable, subsidized education to over 400 children in need from nursery school through to high school graduation. Many of the 42 tribes in Kenya are reflected in the student body, as well as children from many of the twelve countries making up the Great Lakes region of East Africa. Students also receive health care and food.

PACE also operates the Pan African School of Theology (PAST), an accredited, degree-granting Bible school for pastors who want to improve their education and expand their ministry. Because it can be difficult for pastors to get to the main PAST campus at PACE Ministries, there are five local centres throughout Kenya. During the two years pastors study at PAST, they are also trained in vocational skills that allow them to supplement their family incomes while attending school.

Pastor Wachira, the head of PACE, hosts an annual African Leadership Summit in Nyahururu. African leaders from the East, South, and West are invited to attend. During this week-long summit, attendees deal with issues that affect their lives, issues most are not free to discuss in their own communities. The participants also tour PACE sites and projects, and spend time with local pastors.
