Toledo Club Football is a Student Organization and Club Sport
at the University of Toledo and is considered a NON-PROFIT
ORGANIZATION and all donations and sponsorships to us can be claimed
as TAX-DEDUCTIBLE.
We play 11-man tackle football and are a club sport at the
University of Toledo. We play in the National Club Football
Association (NCFA ). We are 100% student-operated and
coached. We believe in giving students the opportunity to play
competitive collegiate football who did not get the opportunity to
play at the NCAA level or no longer have the opportunity. We also
give our staff (students and non-students) the opportunity to gain
experience running a collegiate football program. We are a team
about giving second chances to these young student-athletes, many of
whom played high school football and have no other way to be able to
continue their football career, UT has a D1 NCAA team, which only
about 1% of high school football players make it into a D1 NCAA
team. This is their new chance to still play football while
attending the University of Toledo. With your help, we can afford to
give them this opportunity and teach them the many life lessons
associated with football such as hard work, teamwork, and never
giving up.
Since we are a first-year club team we are limited to a
maximum of $1500 allocated from the school for our $8000 budget for
2020, and it is likely we will not receive any allocation from UT
this year due to the financial hardships from COVID-19.
Our $2000 Goal represents 25% of our operating expenses for
the 2020-2021 school year and season.
