Sato Elementary, Fifth Grade Team hasn't added a story.
At Sato Elementary School, we are fortunate to serve a community that provides abundant and generous support to our staff and students. We are dedicated to providing a rigorous education for each and every child, and to fostering each student's academic growth through art integration. Additionally, we are committed to creating an environment that promotes our kindergarten-fifth grade students through hands-on collaborative opportunities. We are able to utilize the diverse talents and skills of staff and families in the learning process.
This year we would love to introduce and integrate pottery for our students to experience hands-on learning and exploration through creative arts activities. With the use of these tools, students will learn about the pottery creation and firing process, develop skills in design, collaboration, and critical thinking. The pottery supplies will allow students to independently lead their learning by addressing core content targets. students will be assessed on their learning throughout the construction and application process.
