The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Club Baseball was founded on September 11, 2002. Club Baseball is a student run organization and was formed with the goal to provide students an opportunity to continue to play highly competitive baseball at a collegiate level. UW-Whitewater joined the National Club Baseball Association (NCBA) in the fall of 2002.

The NCBA is a nationally recognized organization that promotes the sport of baseball at the club level and is a governing body that manages a nationally recognized league that allows teams to participate from year to year to compete for a national title.

UW-Whitewater's Club Baseball Team provides a unique opportunity to collegiate athletes to allow them to continue to play competitive baseball. UW-Whitewater Club Baseball is self funded through its players and none of the student athletes are on scholarship. The students who participate in club baseball play for the love of the game and make the sacrifice of time and money in order to play the game they love.

Donations to the UW-Whitewater Club Baseball team would allow for the team to purchase new equipment, uniforms, pay for travel/accomodations, and other miscellaneous things needed for the good of the program.
