Informazioni sulla corsa ciclistica C2C4C 2026

La C2C4C è la staffetta ciclistica solidale di Bristol Myers Squibbche ogni anno unisce colleghi da tutta Europa in un viaggio di oltre 2.000 km, con l’obiettivo di raccogliere fondi a sostegno di organizzazioni impegnate nella lotta contro il cancro.

Dal 4 al 21 settembre, anche il team italiano, AzzurrInSella, tornerà a pedalare insieme ai colleghi europei per contribuire concretamente a questa iniziativa.

Un grande obiettivo, combattere al fianco dei nostri pazienti nella notta contro il cancro e raccogliere fondi a supporto di questa battaglia: le battaglie si possono vincere solo se si è uniti!

Il Team AzzurrInSella si allenerà duramente, sapendo che potrà contare sul sostengo di tutti voi! ❤️

Chi sono i partecipanti

Il team italiano AzzurrInSella è quest'anno composto da Matteo Beccari, Stefano Galaverna, Marianna Metafue, Lorenzo Pinzani, capitanati da Angelo Licameli. I 5 rider non sono ciclisti, ma che si allenano duramente e intensivamente per 5 mesi per completare la loro parte di corsa. Tutti sono dipendenti di Bristol Myers Squibb impegnati a raccogliere fondi per la lotta contro il cancro, sostenendo le organizzazioni oncologiche europee che sono membri dell'UICC.

 

Raccolta fondi per l’Associazione Tumori Toracici Rari APS ETS, TUTOR nell’ambito del progetto "HELP-LINE".

Quest’anno le nostre donazioni supporteranno il progetto HELP-LINE, che nasce per essere molto più di un servizio: vuole essere un punto di riferimento accogliente e rassicurante per pazienti con tumori del timo e mesotelioma, e per i loro caregiver, in un momento della vita spesso segnato da fragilità, incertezza e bisogno di vicinanza.

Accanto al percorso clinico, un Case Manager accompagna ogni persona con ascolto, attenzione e sensibilità, aiutandola a dare voce a bisogni emotivi, pratici e sociali che non sempre trovano spazio o parole.

Dopo un primo contatto e una valutazione strutturata, viene costruito un piano personalizzato, con accesso da remoto a professionisti come psico-oncologo, fisioterapista, dietista e altri specialisti utili. Il supporto continua nel tempo attraverso momenti di monitoraggio e strumenti dedicati alla qualità di vita, così da adattarsi davvero all’evoluzione dei bisogni.

L’obiettivo è far sentire pazienti e caregiver meno soli, più compresi, più orientati e più forti nella gestione quotidiana della malattia.

Allo stesso tempo, il progetto permette di raccogliere dati preziosi per comprenderne l’impatto reale e migliorarne, nel tempo, l’efficacia e il valore umano.

TUTOR: chi siamo e cosa facciamo

Siamo un gruppo di volontari, famigliari e pazienti affetti da tumori del timo e mesotelioma che si  dedicano gratuitamente come volontari per TUTOR.

Dal 2017 siamo al fianco del paziente e a favore della ricerca per combattere i tumori toracici rari, quali  i tumori del timo, timoma e carcinoma timico, e il mesotelioma. Siamo un’associazione  non profit  di volontari, familiari e pazienti. Siamo l’unica associazione di pazienti con tumori toracici rari in Italia e in Europa. Collaboriamo attivamente e fattivamente con le società scientifiche che, a livello nazionale e internazionale, si occupano di queste patologie. A gennaio 2024 ci siamo iscritti al RUNTS (Registro Unico Nazionale del Terzo Settore) e abbiamo acquisito il riconoscimento della personalità giuridica.

I nostri obbiettivi:

  • Creare un luogo dove i malati e i loro familiari si possano conoscere, riconoscere e possano trovare e condividere esperienze e informazioni.
  • Promuovere la diffusione di conoscenze e informazioni sulla malattia, sui problemi a essa correlati e sui Centri di trattamento. Fornire assistenza e sostegno ai pazienti, in particolare a coloro i quali sono costretti al “turismo sanitario”.
  • Promuovere la centralità e la partecipazione del paziente nel percorso di cura (empowerment-engagement).
  • Far crescere e consolidare il rapporto di confronto e scambio con le comunità clinica e scientifica che si occupano di queste patologie rare e delle patologie a esse correlate.
    Ottimizzare e far progredire i percorsi di cura e di assistenza su tutto il territorio nazionale.
  • Promuovere e sostenere la ricerca sui tumori rari del torace.
  • Partecipare attivamente ai gruppi di ricerca “dando voce” alle necessità dei pazienti.
  • Diffondere la conoscenza delle attività di studio e di ricerca, in particolare dei risultati e dei progressi clinici e scientifici raggiunti nell’ambito di queste rare neoplasie, promuovendo la conoscenza degli studi clinici e la partecipazione dei pazienti alle sperimentazioni.
  • Sensibilizzare l’opinione pubblica e le istituzioni sui tumori rari e sulla necessità di finanziamento della ricerca sulle patologie rare.
  • Svolgere il ruolo di interlocutore accreditato nei rapporti con le istituzioni e gli enti nazionali e internazionali al fine di promuovere il miglioramento dell’iter terapeutico.
