Help the San Diego State Men’s Club Basketball Team Continue Making History
We are the San Diego State Men’s Club Basketball Team, and we’re proud to be entering our second season as a program. What started last year as a brand-new, student-run team has quickly grown into something bigger than ourselves—and now, we’re working to build on that foundation.
Our inaugural season proved that SDSU Club Basketball belongs on the national stage. With strong commitment from our players and staff, we laid the groundwork for a competitive program. However, despite our growth and success, we continue to face the same financial challenges that come with being a student-run organization.
Our Progress So Far
In our first-ever season, we finished with an impressive 25–8 overall record, highlighted by tournament championships at both the University of San Diego and Arizona State University. That momentum has carried into year two. To start this season, we are 8–3, with wins over community college teams, small varsity college programs, and top club programs. These results show that our program is competitive well beyond the club level—and that we’re just getting started.
Our Goal This Season
Our primary goal this year is to qualify for the NCBBA National Championship, held each April in Pennsylvania. Competing at nationals would be a major milestone for our young program and an opportunity to represent San Diego State on a national stage. However, qualifying and traveling to the championship requires significant funding, making your support more important than ever.
Why We Need Your Support
Unlike varsity or long-established club programs, we receive limited funding and resources. As a result, our players and coaches still cover many necessary expenses out of pocket. As we continue to grow and compete at a higher level, these costs only increase.

Our Goal
We are aiming to raise $10,000 to help offset these critical costs for the season. Every dollar goes directly toward supporting our players and sustaining the future of SDSU Men’s Club Basketball.
