She is a teeny tiny little girl, all of 3 lbs and just months old, with a very big problem.

Beri came to DRSF from outside of our area with a big condition for such a small girl - she had a serious hernia that, if left untreated, could strangulate and kill her.  

She made the long trip with President Pam (and was a very good  traveling partner!), and as soon as they got to Ft. Lauderdale, Beri went right to LeadER for evaluation.

She was checked out by the specialists and after checking her vitals and an ultrasound, it was determined that the best course of action was to go right to surgery as at any time, as if what was pushing through the wall of her abdomen got stuck in such a way that the blood flow got cut off, it could kill her.

We have had quite the couple weeks with everything from dogs being hit by a car, to IVDD, to surgical incisions that will not heal.  You have made it possible for us to cover all that medical care, and we are now back again, on bended knee to ask your support for a little girl, with her whole life ahead of her, to give her a chance at her happily ever after.
