Run or walk from a distance for vulnerable children and youth in Romania!

On May 2nd 2020 join families, friends and advocates in running or walking for Impact Romania.

Time: 9:30am virtual warm up, 10am event.  If you cannot attend at that time please feel free to complete your run or walk anytime May 2 or 3.

Location:  Wherever you are!  Your favourite place to move- a park, treadmill, through your neighbourhood.

Cost: You are encouraged to make a donation and share the opportunity to sponsor your run/walk with your loved ones and network.

Distance Options: 2KM, 5KM walk, run or workout.

GET INVOLVED: Register here or on your friend's campaign by clicking 'Join the Team'. Give a gift or set a fundraising goal, and spread the word!

Once you complete your run or walk you can upload a picture or video on the updates tab of your page.

Please note - We have continued to increase the goal based on the amazing response we have received.  This is our final goal and would match what we were able to raise last year.  The other reason for raising the goal is that we anticipate a 30% reduction in donations for Impact Romania this year due to the pandemic. 

Here is how we foresee the event happening on May 2:

Johnny Fukumoto will lead a virtual warm up at 9:30am EST on the Fukumoto Fitness Facebook or Instagram page. Please familiarize yourself with this at 9:25 b/c it will only last for 10 minutes!

Around 10am or when you are ready, start your run, walk or workout.

PLEASE take pictures or videos of yourself participating in your run, walk or workout.

Do a light cool down, do some stretches and drink some water. You will deserve it!

Upload your photos or videos to YOUR personal Virtual Run for Romania page 
1.       Sign in to your page
2.       Click on Update (in the menu bar under your name)
3.       Add pictures or upload videos
4.       Post
*Please take the time to do this step as our goal is to have ALL participants share an image or video of their virtual Run for Romania experience. If you have any problem feel free to call me (Bob) at 416-816-3815 and I’ll walk you through it.

Additionally, if you post any pictures or videos to your Facebook or Instagram please tag Impact Romania (on facebook) and use the hashtag #RUN4RO.

Connect with other members of our community virtually and congratulate them!
