When: On February 24, 2024 - (11AM – 9:00PM) Cost - Location: CB Smith Park (Concert Green Amphitheater) 900 N Flamingo Road, Pembroke Pines, Florida, 33028

The Festival Mission:

Since 2011 RIR Festivals bring prevention and awareness to the south Florida communities for help with substance use disorders and mental health issues. We look for evidence-based practices in our communities for prevention, treatment, and recovery information that can help loved ones, family, friends and most important the masses. We stride towards helping all we can.

The Festival Goal:

Through these music based events we've been able to help families seeking information on recovery for loved ones and people struggling with drug addiction and alcoholism come for the music and some have even left right from the events to get the help they need.

The Festival Education Factor: Stopping the Stigma and educating the community.

We have professionals at each event that can answer questions and offer help and services. Over the years we've have had a standing order at RIR events. A person' looking for help (regardless of their financial situation) gets the help.

So, gather your friends, family, and anyone else you can think of, because this event is not to be missed. Come prepared to dance, sing along, and celebrate the incredible synergy that exists between music and recovery. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and positive energy as we dance the day away at Rockers In Recovery.

We eagerly anticipate your presence at this extraordinary event. See you on February 24, 2024, at 900 N Flamingo Road in Pembroke Pines, Florida, for a day filled with fantastic music, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories. Rock on!

Why Sponsor RIR?

Why Sponsor Rockers In Recovery and John Hollis,

Since its establishment in 2008, the RIR organization based in Florida has been actively involved in promoting recovery through various means. Their main focus revolves around providing addiction recovery news, conducting interviews, organizing meet and greet events, as well as hosting concerts and festivals within the clean and sober community.

Throughout the years, RIR has amassed a significant following, reaching hundreds of thousands of supporters. With a total of 34 music productions, including concerts, music festivals, and community meet and greet sessions, RIR has consistently worked towards assisting families in search of recovery information for their loved ones, as well as individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

Unlike the common trend within rock music, which often revolves around topics such as sex, drugs, and associated aspects of that lifestyle, RIR is devoted to promoting personal recovery and sobriety. I had the opportunity to have a conversation with John Hollis, where we discussed the inspiring mission of Rockers In Recovery, their efforts in spreading the recovery message, and the exciting upcoming events they have planned.

These events attract a diverse crowd, who not only come for the music but also for the arts and crafts exhibitors, merchandise, food vendors, addiction education speakers, and the chance to learn more about evidence-based treatment options and obtain veteran information. The presence of professionals at each event ensures that attendees can have their questions about substance abuse, its symptoms, different types of treatment, and recovery answered.

We eagerly anticipate the year 2024, where we can reunite with old friends and make new ones within a comfortable and supportive environment. Remember, everyone is welcome to join us on this journey of recovery.
