Rockers In Recovery®(RIR) brings prevention and awareness for
help with for substance use disorders. We look for evidence-based
practices in their communities for prevention, treatment, and
recovery information that can help loved ones, family, friends and
most important the masses. We stride towards helping all we can.
Since 2008 RIR's Multi-Media Platforms: Radio Broadcasting ,
Podcasting, Digital Media, Online & In Print Magazine, Blogging,
Audio and Video Streaming is Prevention, Awareness, and Recovery
based broadcasting & media outreach services, features current
news, and Interviews with authors, health experts, along with music
artists (Old and New), musical reviews, and live in studio music.
Through the language of the heart, "RIR Music Café
Nights", Community Awareness Meet & Greets, Benefit
Concerts, and Music & Art Festivals. Incorporates a very non
abrasive approach to reach people with evidence-based practices in
their communities for the prevention, treatment, and recovery
services they may need.
We are comprised of people that love Rock & Roll music and
are now in "Recovery" Hence Rockers In Recovery.
The music posted on our social media pages and musical guests at
our events is not a representation that an artist or musician is in
recovery. If that's the case and that was a prerequisite it would be
named musicians in recovery.
We have a lot of people not in recovery that want to support
recovery movement and want to be a part of RIR and are grateful for
their help. We share the message of hope and love.
That life in recovery from addiction is not only possible, but can
be fun while living it. One Day At A Time.
Over the last 15 Years we have produced over 35 free Concerts,
Festivals and Meet and Greets all over the United States.
Through these events we've been able to help families seeking
information on recovery for loved ones and people struggling with
drug addiction and alcoholism come for the music and some have even
left right from the events to get the help they need.
We have professionals at each event that can answer their
questions and offer help and services.
Over the years we've have had Standing order at RIR events is if
a person's looking for help (regardless of their financial
situation) they get help.
