Crusoe has battled intervertebral disc disease
(IVDD) for many years. And as it affects 1 in 4 dachshunds, we know
this issue is close to the hearts of many of you, not just our own.
However, advancements in IVDD research and treatments are still lacking.
It's time to change that. In collaboration with Cornell University, 100% of the net proceeds from this IVDD FUND will go towards IVDD and spinal cord injury-related efforts at the university, which do and may include:

- CLINICAL TRIALS, such as determining the optimal protocol of hydrotherapy in post-surgical management, and potentially even stem cell therapy in chronic cases!

- CLINICAL RESEARCH to advance knowledge and optimal treatments, such as developing diagnostic biomarkers, as well new, novel therapies.

By supporting this fund and ultimately Cornell
University's research into IVDD/spinal injury, you are directly
helping advance our understanding of this disease, and its potential
solutions, for the benefit of dogs like Crusoe, and potentially even
yours (I hope not!), in the future. And we sincerely thank
