This August yogis will come together for an all-level, fun-filled event that will challenge participants to experience a full or half day yogathon while raising funds for Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland.

Bend, stretch and balance for a good cause
Yoga builds self-confidence, self-esteem and self-awareness. Yoga improves focus, concentration, breathing, listening and relaxation skills. Yoga helps us deal with challenges with an open heart. Yoga also develops physical fitness and it’s a lot of fun!
This August 12th, get ready to roll out your mat in New Westminster by signing up today. Join a team, start your own, or come as an individual! All ages and all levels welcome. Choose to do the full yogathon or a half yogathon, and maybe even sign up for all three locations!
Last year we raised $30,000 and this year, with your help, we can surpass that.

How it works
1) Choose your location.
Big Yoga™ for Big Sisters is hosting 3 events in 3 communities on three different dates this summer. Choose to take part in yogathons in North Vancouver, New Westminster and/or Vancouver. All ages and all yoga levels are welcome!
2) Sign up.
There are three ways you can sign up to participate in Big Yoga™ for Big Sisters.
- As a corporate team with your colleagues
- As a team of friends
- As an individual yogi
3) Invite your friends.
Big Yoga™ for Big Sisters is a community event. Invite your friends to join your team, donate or cheer you on at the event.
4) Fundraise at least $100.
Big Yoga™ for Big Sisters is all about using your practice to transform girls' lives. We ask that you raise at least $100 to help us give girls in your community a positive Big Sister. We've got some great fundraising incentive prizes along the way, so start early for more chances to win!
5) Show up and have fun.
The last thing to do is attend the event. No need to reserve a spot at your favourite class, just show up with your mat for the full yogathon (6 classes), half yogathon (3 classes) and yoga-inspired workshops.
