🐾 Every registration, pledge, donation, and share helps support veterinary care, food, shelter, and rescue efforts.
PetitsPawz is a grassroots Montreal-area rescue helping vulnerable cats and kittens who have been abandoned, neglected, injured, or left struggling to survive outdoors.
What began as helping a few abandoned cats has grown into an ongoing rescue effort involving emergency veterinary care, diagnostics, food, shelter, sterilizations, and daily support for vulnerable animals.
One of those rescues was Brandy and her family.
Brandy was rescued just days before giving birth to her kittens. Watching her safely care for her babies after everything she had been through reminded us exactly why this work matters. Every animal deserves safety, care, and a second chance.
Brandy and her family are part of an ongoing rescue effort involving a large group of abandoned domesticated cats and kittens left struggling to survive outdoors.
Many of the adults were incredibly friendly and clearly once belonged to someone. The kittens were initially fearful and semi-feral, but have since begun learning to trust and socialize.
To date, PetitsPawz has rescued 15 cats from this situation, with additional animals still requiring intake, veterinary care, and support.
Many of the original rescues have already found loving homes, but veterinary expenses continue to rise quickly as new cats and kittens arrive into care.
Emergency care, ultrasounds, sterilizations, vaccinations, medications, food, and daily supplies all add up — which is why fundraisers like Paws, Set, Bowl! are so important.
But rescue comes with constant expenses.
Veterinary visits, ultrasounds, medications, sterilizations, vaccinations, emergency care, food, litter, and supplies add up quickly — especially when multiple animals need help at the same time.
That is why we created Paws, Set, Bowl!
Participants can register, create teams, raise pledges, and help make a direct impact for the cats and kittens currently in our care.
Every donation, every share, and every participant truly helps.
Whether you bowl, donate, fundraise, or simply help spread the word, you are becoming part of these animals’ story too.

Highlights
See all activity4Founded in 2009, by Susan Mackasey, PetitsPawz is a grassroots Montreal-area rescue dedicated to helping vulnerable cats, kittens, and animals in need.
We work to rescue, foster, care for, and rehome abandoned, neglected, injured, and at-risk animals while providing essential veterinary care, food, shelter, and support.
While our primary focus has always been cats and kittens, over the years we have also expanded to help dogs in emergency situations when urgent care and intervention are needed.
What began as helping a few cats has grown into an ongoing community-driven rescue effort fueled by compassion, volunteers, fosters, and supporters who believe every animal deserves safety and a second chance.

Through fundraisers, community support, and rescue partnerships, PetitsPawz continues working to give animals the care and protection they deserve. 🐾
