Just when we say we have seen the worst of the worst, something worse knocks on our door.

This tiny 6 pound baby was found "dumped in a crate under some bushes soaking wet and cold".
What could she have possibly done to deserve to end up in this condition? In that place?

Well, today was her lucky day! She was found by the husband of a wonderful rescue friend to DRSF and he wrapped her in a warm towel and call her. A plea went out on Facebook and then we were directly contacted. Jane took off west and Pam headed east and this little girl we have now named Rey was on her way to Dr. Bruce's animal hospital to begin getting her the help she so desperately needs.

We cannot imagine how painful this is for her. We suspect that she has demodex, but tests will have to confirm that. Dr. Bruce will also do some other tests to check for internal parasites, make sure her blood glucose is normal and that she's not anemic from parasites. Her skin is horribly infected and inflamed.

It's going to be a long road for this tiny little girl, but we know our community would want us to give her the life she deserves.

2018 has started with a bang for DRSF and here we are, again, asking for your help, your donations and healing thoughts.
