175 Days running

It seems that on many days, South Florida is a land over-run with homeless doxies, roaming free on the streets being hit by cars left and right.  Today is another one of those days....

Chester came to DRSF after being hit by a car way down in Cutler Bay.  By the magic of social media, any injured doxie in a 36 state radius gets tagged to President Pam (we would very much like to help the injured doxies in Illinois, but even we are not that good....yet...) and the next thing we knew we had photos of a tiny little senior boy, who somehow was alone, out on the streets, roaming around, and had been hit by a car with injuries to his head and feet.

The little man we have named Chester's night didn't start out too good being hit by a car, but the people who found him, posted on line, asking for help, we agreed to welcome him to DRSF, and the next thing Chester knew, he was on his way on a medical transport up to Broward County and to LeadER where they knew we had, yet another injured dog incoming.

We have asked for quite a bit this week, and are back again to ask your support for Chester, a little frosty faced man who had no business at all being left alone, in the dark, on the streets to fend for himself.

We want to give him every chance we can to get the care he needs to have the life he deserves.  As always, if everyone gives just a little, even $1, all our dogs would be 100% funded!  Chester sends his love and thanks for helping him when he needs someone most!
