2017 GOAL: $35,000

Details:

1. Camp Discovery - $10,000.

Send 50 kids to camp this summer! Funds raised for Camp Discovery goes towards the transportation, accommodation, and food for kids at camp, the same costs for volunteers participating, program supplies and activities.

2. Mini-camp Program - $15,000.

This will be for 5 different sessions of mini-camp, each hosting 25 kids & 10 volunteers, plus 2 follow-up events per camp.

3. Pas Cu Pas Volunteer Fund - $10,000.

We have about 40 volunteers who participate in our ministry. It's basically for development (training & retreats), ministry costs (like food & transportation for volunteers to participate in outreach), community events (such as family meals, special outings, pj parties) and benevolent support (counseling, career counseling, financial help for medical/dental if needs arise, etc).

We are presently in a “preparation stage” for a 10-year project. Our hope is to build a central location (near where most of our 300+ orphans are located in institutions and group homes). The purpose is to provide a “family home”, where deeper impact, real world preparation, experiential learning, and intentional community can be experienced in a “structured” and loving environment.

2016 BLOG POST: BURPEES FOR ROMANIA 2016: $28,000 SUMMARY AND THANK YOU!

For the 6th consecutive year, the Fukumoto Fitness family will embark upon thousands of burpees in support of our Impact Romania programs through their “Burpees 4 Romania” campaign. Participating FF clients will go dollar-for-burpee, committing to do as many burpees as dollars raised through their individual campaigns.

You don’t have to do burpees to give to the cause!!!! If you'd simply like to donate, please do so without the expectation of doing any exercise! The burpee portion is for Fukumoto Fitness' members (as well as anyone who'd like to do them of their own free will!).
