For 17 years we have walked the wall because we believe every child with a disability deserves loving compassion and care.
ICC is working to transform the lives of the most vulnerable children in China. Together we will spread the word and raise much-needed funds to give children with disabilities the love, hope and opportunity they need to thrive. Join us on September 28, 2024 to build a brighter future for these children and families.
For Walk the Wall Canada 2024 we have three organized walks that you can participate in:
Vancouver – Spanish Banks/Locarno Park - 4445 NW Marine Drive. Meeting time 9:30 AM
Ottawa - Dows Lake Pavilion - 1001 Queen Elizabeth Drive. Meeting time 9:45 AM
Toronto - Tyndale University - 3377 Bayview Ave. Meeting time 9:45 AM
If you can’t attend one of these walks then we encourage participants to walk individually, with a friend, family, business, or church group wherever you’d like to walk.

Why Walk?
By participating in Walk the Wall on September 28, 2024 you are providing life-changing opportunities for thousands of children, youth and families, including:
- Surrounding hundreds of families in need with support, therapy, medical assistance for those who are caring for a child with a disability at home, so they know they aren't alone
- Providing 24hr care for over 60 children and youth in our family-style group homes with love and compassion in Changsha
- Bringing vocational and job opportunities to young people with disabilities to enable them to reach their full potential
Walk the Wall How To's
- Click on the “Register” button and sign up to walk.
- Ask friends and family to walk with you. The more people walking and fundraising, the more children in China with disabilities thrive!
- Share your Fundrazr page on social media. Share with friends and family why you're walking and asking them to donate.
- Share a pic of you and your group on social media as you walk! Tag us #chinaconcerncanada or #walkthewall2024
- Help us reach our goal of $200,000! Together you will be transforming lives and bringing love, hope and opportunity to China’s most vulnerable children.
Share & Promote!
As you see friends and family over the summer, invite them to either join you and raise funds too OR ask them to support you. For 31 years ICC has been able to provide world class therapy and care for children like Gui and so much more so he can live a full and meaningful life.

Walk the Wall’s Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is Fundrazr?
A: Fundrazr is the platform ICC is using for participants to donate, register and create their own campaign pages to share among their network.
Q: How do I find my campaign page?
A: After you’ve registered, you should have received an email from Fundrazr with a link to your very own campaign page. You can also find your campaign page by signing into Fundrazr, clicking your profile picture at the top right, and then clicking “campaigns”.
Q: I made an individual campaign, can I switch to a team campaign?
A: Yes, even after registering as an individual, you can go into your settings to switch to a team campaign and allow people to join you. However, you can not switch from a team campaign into an individual campaign.
Q: How do I customize my campaign page?
A: Once you’ve opened up your campaign, we encourage you to start customizing! You can customize and edit by clicking the pen icon. You’ll be able to customize the following:
1. Change your campaign title
2. Change your banner photo
3. Add/ Change your profile picture
4. Add your story and why you are walking in
support of ICC children
Q: What is my “story”?
A: Your story is how you connect with ICC and why you’re walking with us. Have you volunteered at one of our homes in China? Do you personally know someone with a disability? Have you adopted or sponsored a child from ICC? Do you have a passion to see Chinese society love and embrace people with disabilities?
Q: Why is it important for me to share my “story”?
A: Sharing your story helps your community understand your passion for ICC and why you're walking. There are a couple of ways you can share your story. You can share your story on your Fundrazr campaign page and social media. We encourage you to share your story, because more than ever, we need something that brings our community together.
Q: Why should I share on social media?
A: The beauty of Walk the Wall is that it gives you the opportunity to invite your network into this movement through social media. Every share on social media helps raise awareness about the children and families whose lives have been changed forever through ICC’s care. So even the click of a button can make a difference!
Q: Why is Walk the Wall so important?
A: Walk the Wall has been one of ICC’s largest and most important fundraising events. On average, Walk the Wall has 4,000 participants globally and fundraises about $400,000 annually. Every dollar donated empowers ICC to provide life saving, holistic care to children and families who are in crisis. With your support, ICC’s love surrounds each child with special education, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, life skills training, and vocational training.
We’re blessed that partners like you are coming together to help us raise awareness and critical funding for International China Concern.

- 為殘疾青年提供職業培訓和就業機會，使他們充分發揮潛能

「走長城」步行籌款的參與方式：
