Will you go Over The Edge for your community?

You've participated in runs, walks, galas and golf tournaments. Now it's time to try something different. Rappel off a high-rise building in support of the over 500,000 children across Greater Atlanta that need your help.

Over The Edge has been Postponed (and Fundraising Period Extended!)

Have you already registered to rappel down a skyscraper? Or maybe you still need to sign up? Well, you‘ve got more time! Y our chance to go Over The Edge has been extended. We’ve moved the event to August 15, and fundraising will end October 15. If you have signed up as a fundraiser or volunteer, the United Way team will be in touch with you.

Over The Edge is a unique fundraising event that allows participants an opportunity to raise money for children, families, and community in Greater Atlanta by rappelling down the historic 100 Edgewood Avenue building in downtown Atlanta. Our rappelers will be raising money to improve overall child well-being in Greater Atlanta, through the cause of their choice:

  • Create stronger learners and ensure all 3rd graders are reading proficiently
  • Ensure our youth are college and career-ready
  • Help families and individuals become more economically stable

Take your support for United Way to new heights and face your fears!

Other ways to participate

Toss Your Boss

Partner with co-workers to raise at least $1,500, and we'll arrange to have your boss locked into a harness. But, if your boss matches your gift, he or she can assign the job to someone else - just like a day at the office!

Be "Grounded"

Are you too "grounded" to rappel 216 feet but would love to contribute to the cause? You can choose to be grounded when registering.
