We are a Dutch / Ugandan foundation that is active in a small village in Uganda named Nkokonjeru. Weekly we visit around 15 to 25 school where we do preventive woundcare. We reach over 10.000 children weekly.

Preventive woundcare
Excalating wounds is a big problem in dusty and hot Uganda. Children walk bare feet to school and get small wounds. Without proper care the risk of infection is high and due to the lack of care for the wounds they can escalate very quickly. If a wound excalates hospitals are far away and expensive which puts the young children at risk.

We try to prevent the escalation of wounds so children stay safe and healty.

A massive THANK YOU! for all who came to this page because of Simon Whiteley. He is going to ride his bike to support our projects in Uganda from Lyon, through Valence and Avignon, right down to the south coast at Marseille. That is arond 340 kilomters... Just one word AWESOME!!!

Read more on this blog about the ride.
