In these times of emergency and uncertainty, let's not forget those who needed our help before Covid-19. They need it now more than ever.

This current global situation has left isolated communities even more isolated, as most of the world's efforts are rightly focussed on bringing the pandemic to an end, worrying conflicts, and inevitable subsequent socioeconomic crises.

However, people in need don't simply go on stand-by. And if we cut even the few channels that provided them with support in the previous years, their risk of slipping down the spiral again increases by the day.

We at IPSO believe in continuous collaboration and training. Just like a child needs years of continuous education possibly without blank periods in-between, so do communities learning to survive by themselves.

The ultimate goal is to give those communities the knowledge and tools to first discover their own riches, and to use them wisely then.

As with the education of a growing human being, continuity is the key to success.

Similarly, a continued commitment is less costly and less demanding, both for the sponsoring parties and for the recipient communities, and it has fewer risks of failing.

We therefore ask your contribution in order to allow us to provide continuous, sustainable support to the communities we help, so that they may become self-sufficient as soon as possible, thus able to help other communities around them.

One-way development never worked and never will. Let us help these communities build their own future, and find their own place in the world we all live in.

At IPSO we believe in direct participation, and we encourage our supporters to voice their preferences and become more involved in our projects. If you wish, you can tell us which project in particular you'd like to support and we will allocate your entire donation to that project.

Also, at IPSO we take pride in having possibly the lowest operational costs in the industry. Thanks to institutional support and multi-party engagement, we allocate a maximum of 0,9% of your donation to operational activities. At least 99,1% of your donation goes directly to the communities we help!
