The Shoestring is hosting a Trivia Night at the Marigold Theater on November 20th at 7pm! All proceeds from this event will directly fund the work of The Shoestring and will be matched 100% by the grassroots funding campaign NewsMatch. 

  • There is a pay-what-you-can ticket donation to play trivia. Tickets can be purchased in advance online here, or in person at the venue on the day of the event.
  • Trivia questions will be based on local municipal knowledge and past reporting by The Shoestring. Many of the trivia categories will also be in multiple choice format for low-stakes fun and options to guess if you get stumped!
  • Play as a team or by yourself! There is no limit to the number of players required to play trivia. If you come alone and want to join up with others please let us know and we will introduce you to other folks looking to make teams! We want everyone to feel welcome and have fun. 
  • There are prizes! We will have prizes for first, second, and third place and possibly some additional prize opportunities!
  • Bring snacks! The Marigold allows you to bring food/ snacks to eat. 

The Marigold Theater is located at 84 cottage Street Easthampton, Massachusetts.

This event helps us meet our readers, helps our readers meet each other, and helps us fund another year of independent news for western Mass. Our paying supporters allow us to provide our coverage without fees, paywalls, or advertisements. If you like the work we do please, give generously!
