Dominican Starfish Foundation hasn't added a story.

Shhh! It's Amarilis's birthday again and we are celebrating by helping Raidely and her mom Jhohaira have a home in the Dominican Republic!

Our Dominican director, Amarilis lives to help others. This month she donated her whole month's wages from ILP and her teaching to help Raidely and her mom. Raidely is a darling 12-year-old who wants to be the next director of Dominican Starfish Foundation. She is always helping Amarilis and her mom helps a lot as well. In this photo Jhohaira and Raidely are standing in the doorway of a home that was gifted. They came to help clean it.

Jhohaira's mom gifted her a piece of her property to build a home.

We went to see the property in March when we were there.

The place is marked for the new home to be built. Jhohaira also has another daughter and a grandson. They will also be sharing the new home.

Please help if you can to surprise Amarilis for her birthday! Charitable tax receipts will be issued.
