The Catamount Running Club is a brand-new Club Sport at WCU and has
the incredible opportunity to compete at both NIRCA Regionals and
Nationals this year. Since we are a brand new club, we are in our
probationary year and do not receive any funding.
Your contributions will directly support our travel and
registration expenses for the Spring 2025 Track & Field Season.

Goal Breakdown:
Cost to register an athlete for UNC Chapel Hill
Meet: $35 or $350 per team
Cost to register an athlete for NATIONALS TRACK MEET: $30
12 Athletes to track the meet = $360
Cost to register an athlete for NATIONALS HALF MARATHON:
$55
12 Athletes to race the half: $660
(we will be able to take a max of 12 athletes so there will be a
mixture of people who race either the track meet or the half)
Cost for 12 athletes to stay two nights (3 rooms) at Courtyard
by Marriott Richmond West for
Nationals: $784.32 , cost per person $65.36
Cost of gas to Nationals per car:
422.4 miles/ 20 mpg x $3.10 per gallon = $65.47 x 2 (round trip) =
$130.94 round trip gas per car
If we are unable to raise enough money, athletes will have to cover
their own travel expenses. If you are donating for a specific athlete,
please indicate their name in your donation.
