Our Mission

The word,  Filigree, meaning, 'the complex intertwining of delicate threads of gold and silver’,
comes from the Latin words  filum 'thread'  and granum ‘seed’. 

"To filigree" means "to make by hand and with much skill.’ 

We are an Austin-based, women-led independent theatre company committed to producing high-level, professional theatre.  ​

Our  Annual Season is structured to connect the Past, Present &  Future of theatre through a shared  Theme that runs throughout the season, comprised of:
