Right Turn to Health was born from heartbreak and a shared determination to make lasting change. Founded in September 2023 at Unite Camp 2030 by four individuals deeply affected by road accidents, our organization stands as a testament to resilience, purpose, and innovation.

Road accidents aren’t just statistics. Nearly 1.2 million people are killed every year in crashes worldwide, making road traffic injuries the leading cause of death for children and young adults aged 5–29. Each year, hospitalizations and injuries from these incidents affect 50 million more, placing a staggering burden on families and healthcare systems.

The aftermath echoes across lives and nations: road accident injuries cost the global economy about $3.6 trillion annually, roughly 3% of world GDP. In the first half of 2025 alone, the US saw 18,720 vehicle deaths—a number still tragically high despite progress. Every minute counts: delays in emergency response can increase the odds of death at the crash scene by up to 58%.

Our mission is urgent and clear: we develop solutions that reduce the catastrophic consequences of road accidents by merging innovation with healthcare. This includes advancing emergency response systems, strengthening rehabilitation, and building safer roads for everyone.

Members of our team carries a personal story of loss and survival. Our passion for road safety runs deep, rooted in lived experience and in hope for a future where accidents do not mean heartbreak.
