There's a Poem in That (TAPIT) — a podcasting program that helps strangers' discover the poetry in their most intimate stories. Now available on all podcast platforms, TAPIT's guest line (808-300-0449) allows any listener to call in and become a guest. Guests get three hours of intimate interview culminating in an original poem written just for them, all of which is condensed into a 35-40 minute episode. The show has spiraled into a pop-up mobile unit called the Poetry Therapy Clinic, and the world's only poetry commissioning agency, the International Bureau of Custom Poetry. PoCo Labs — a development initiative that champions poet + composer classical music collaborations that result in real-world performances of original works. PoCo Labs leverages a collective 40-year track record of Emmy- and Grammy-winning projects in an attempt to shift classical music paradigms to encompass living poets as not merely sources of pre-written text but as vital co-creators whose involvement in the early development of a project can contribute mightily to its vision, execution, and success.
