Founded by the North Texas LGBT Chamber of Commerce in 2009, the LGBT Chamber of Commerce Foundation builds community by supporting educational and philanthropic goals that nurture the development of leaders in the LGBT community and support young adults.

The Foundation's LGBT Scholarship Program has granted more than $75,000 in education scholarship to deserving LGBT students throughout Texas.  Annually the Foundation produces the Texas Business Equality Conference. The Conference brings together small and certified business, supplier diversity professionals, and employee/business group leaders for group discussions and professionally led informational sessions. 

In September, the Foundation will launch the LGBT Leadership Institute, a nine-month program to inform and education emerging leaders.
