Jerry Crowell is a 54 year old cancer survivor, who has
expanded the vision for "A Splash of Life KC" and getting
better for the the people in need in the community. Now a
non-for-profit organization, located at 4337 Troost Ave KCMO. Mr.
Crowell's big dream to assist all people with affordable venue
spaces, food pantry, senior citizen gardening, clothing closet, and
basic education is happening. This solar powered building will
provide support for performing artist, and inspire the masses to
believe in themselves.
Two decades ago, the Leawood, Kansas, native had returned from
Los Angeles, where he was trying to break into the film business,
when he was involved in a car accident in Kansas City. While
checking his injuries, the emergency room physicians discovered that
Crowell had a brain tumor.
"It was brain cancer," Crowell says. "I had a
nine-hour operation and radiation. It's caused all kinds of side
effects, affecting the way I walk and talk." However, this has
not stopped Jerry, in pursuing his life long mission to invite his
community through the power of giving.
With major plans in the works "ASPLASH of LIFE KC"
still needs your support to raise money, for existing repairs and
complete restring of my building.
