ORA was created to celebrate Jewish life through beauty, culture, creativity and storytelling.

At a moment when Jewish identity is too often framed through conflict, antisemitism or politics, ORA offers something different: a beautifully produced print magazine devoted to Jewish excellence, creativity, heritage and modern life.

Print matters to us because it lasts.

ORA is designed to be kept, collected and cherished, much like the stories we are preserving. Each issue becomes a physical record of who we are, what we have built and what we have contributed. In a disposable digital world, we are creating something tangible that can live on coffee tables, bookshelves and in family homes for years to come.

Our upcoming Hollywood Issue is one of our most ambitious projects yet.

For more than a century, Jewish writers, directors, producers, performers, composers and entrepreneurs have helped build Hollywood and shape the culture the world consumes. Their influence is extraordinary, yet much of that history is fragmented, forgotten or rarely celebrated through a distinctly Jewish lens.

ORA wants to create a lasting record of it.

The Hollywood Issue will honor the Jewish pioneers who helped create the entertainment industry while celebrating the artists, creators and leaders shaping it today. Through original journalism, archival research, interviews and major photography, we will document a legacy of imagination, beauty, courage and accomplishment.

This is more than a magazine issue. It is a piece of cultural history.

We are creating a record of Jewish excellence to preserve for the next generation. A reminder that our story is not only one of persecution or survival, but also of creation, ambition, influence, beauty and extraordinary achievement.

Producing an issue of this scope requires significant resources. Funding will support original photography, writers, research, archival material, design, printing and expanded distribution so these stories can reach homes, campuses, cultural institutions and Jewish communities across the country.
