Onyx and Lucy's Soldier Savior says:

One day returning to our out post from a long mission hungry and tired we heard barking at the main gate, it was one of many dogs that would roam on and off our camp site. This bark was familiar it was Sarah, our favorite she had disappeared for a week or so, we quickly let her in as she was a great early warning and would protect us from any danger we couldn’t sense with our human intuition. A few weeks went by and we realized Sarah wasn’t roaming about like usual and had began to start nesting,we had our medic take a look at her and too our surprise she was pregnant. As the following weeks passed she would continue to bark at strangling transients down our main road and in one instance alerted us to a possible enemy location just outside the wire. February 17 2020 Sarah gave birth to 12 Pups, she immediately went in to mom mode and the pups where doing well, this was the trend for the first four weeks of the pups life. unfortunately shortly after that fourth week Sarah left camp and wasn’t seen again, leaving behind her pups, most began to dwindle and become sickly even with all efforts of the camp feeding them milk in rubber gloves and baby bottles. Eventually there were four left Onyx, Lucy, Eddy G and Panda. Eddy G and Panda where claimed by our partner force for local families, but these two Onyx and Lucy where special the playful personalities and striking resemblance to mom Sarah made the instant camp mascots, bringing joy to so many and keeping the memories of Sarah alive. Bringing these two awesome pups back is as much for our team as it is for mom Sarah, who protected us every day of our deployment until she couldn’t any more.
